Rev. Paul Traub came to North Carolina in 1974 to attend college.  It was as a student there that he became a Christian through the ministry and witness of some good friends.  Later, while attending graduate school at UNCG, he met his wife, Jo and they were married in 1982.  They began to get involved in the life of the church through teaching and service.  Paul began teaching adult Sunday school and served two terms as an elder.  He was working in the investment business as a stockbroker when he felt a call to the pastoral ministry.  Paul entered Reformed Theological Seminary, received his Master of Divinity in 2005, and was ordained in 2006.

Paul is committed to reestablishing the local church as God’s family in which the members love and care for one another and their community as brothers and sisters.  He places particular importance on the nurture and development of our children so they grow to become men and women who love Jesus and each other in humility and grace. 

He and Jo have two daughters, Lauren and Liz.  Lauren and her husband live in Colorado Springs and have two sons.  Liz is a student in College.
